    Default Calgary Area Honing

    I have aquired a vintage razor and wish to start my straight razor shaving journey with it. However I would like to have someone hone it/inspect it before I do anything with it. Is there any person or shop who offer good honing services in the Calgary and surrounding areas? Thanks

    It seems that there are just a couple Canadian mentors/honers registered in our Library.
    There are many more out there, I'm sure.

    Try sending one of the Canadians in the Library list of local help, a PM.
    I'm sure one of them could point you in the right direction.

    Not sure if you are like many others and come South now and then, but if you find yourself in North Idaho drop me a pm and we can sit down over Coffee or Beers and hone some razors up..

    The name of the place escapes me, but I recall a thread sometime around Christmas about someone finding a small B&M store in Calgary.

    Knifewear in Inglewood. Reviews seem mixed based on a forum search, but might be a decent baseline.
