    Nice! sword cuts are a matter of mechanics, so it is not suprising to see the machine being able to repeat it perfectly each time.
    The 1000 cut challenge is quite challenging. Fatigue aside, the rules state that every cut has to be clean through, and the remainder of the mats have to stay on the pole. 1 incomplete cut or piece of tatami that goes flying from the pole, and that's it. Especially when your arms go wobbly after 500 cuts, I suspect this can be quite challenging.

    I can't imagine the endurance it would require for 1000 cuts, very impressive.

    there are a few videos of the guy in this video doing some very impressive stuff, there is one where he cuts a plastic BB pellet in half that has been fired at him from a BB Pellet rifle.
