Default Anyone in the Pacific Northwest attending this years Eugene Knife Show?

Was wondering if anyone was going to attending the show this year as either a table holder or an attendee? I had a table last year and had a great time. Sold a few razors, got to meet Mike Blue for the first time, and also got to meet a LOT of really interesting folks. I reserved a table this year as well and am looking forward to a great weekend. Here is the website if anyone is interested: OKCA - Index The site is a bit basic, but the show is going on the weekend of April 9 - 10. There are 350 tables showing this year.

I'll try to take some pics and video of the show to share later.

I am often amused by you southern fellas using the phrase Pacific Northwest. All I can say to the post is I wish. I hope you have a great time again. The dollar is in the dumpster so I really can't travel.

Weather guy says 80's in Eugene on Thursday, 60-70's Friday and Weekend. The more the merrier.

We have a Fall conference planned. Maybe we should talk about this as a Spring conference next year?

    Mike,

I will be coming down again next year, so would be up for a get together for sure. Nothing as big as the SSC (unless someone else wants to plan it ) but I'm sure we could get at least 5 or more people to come down.

I did get set up at the show today and have a chance to look around. Quite a few more straights than last year and a few great items... with the corresppnding price tags

I'll try to sync up the photos and get them up tonight tommorow.

    Default Finally some pictures :)

Well, I tired to get my phone to post some pics to the forum while I was at the knife show.... and I failed But I'm back home and have transferred the pics off of my phone and cleaned em up. This was my second year having a table at this event and it was a blast! Got to meet some great people from last year, connected with a few new vendors, bought a few things, and sold a few things as well. I highly recommend just browsing the tables at one of these events if you have the chance. Some fantastic blades and quite a few more razors this year.

I only managed to check out the other tables a bit, but I did find quite a bit to dig through.

I also met an older gent (older than the average "old gent" who was a dealer) who had a nice display of almost mint safety razors.

I had never seen the first one before. Almost a scythe design. It was supposed to have been a WW1 contract model that never took off after the war.
