This one is en route to me from the US.
Nothing I planned on buying, but everyone else sorta backed off that auction:)
It will be put thru the ringer at work for a few weeks, hopefully it will be all I hope it is..

Man, I'm on a roll.
This little Rockstead was finally in stock.
I've waited for months for this one, so finally having it underway to me is great:)
These Japanese folders have become sort of a thing for me, simply stunning craftmanship and materials used to make them. IMHO.

You have to let us know what you think!!
Beautiful! You're a lucky man :).
Edit - what do you think of the steel in this one?
Rockstead CHOU-E Japanese Neck Knife 1-3/4" YXR7 Blade, Wave Edging, Kydex Sheath - KnifeCenter
Mmm...Rocksteads...
Thanks mate:)
I haven't tried the YXR7 steel for any long periods I'm afraid.
From what I've read online about it though, it is a very nice steel in the hardness Rockstead makes them. (around 64 HRc)
From what I understand they will be slightly more prone to rusting, but will hold up to rough use very very good.
