EDC Knife

This spike knife is sweeet! Where does one aquire such a thing? Did you make it?
Or did you buy it? If you bought it where would one go about getting one?

This one is en route to me from the US.
Nothing I planned on buying, but everyone else sorta backed off that auction:)
It will be put thru the ringer at work for a few weeks, hopefully it will be all I hope it is..

Man, I'm on a roll.
This little Rockstead was finally in stock.
I've waited for months for this one, so finally having it underway to me is great:)
These Japanese folders have become sort of a thing for me, simply stunning craftmanship and materials used to make them. IMHO.

I haven't tried the YXR7 steel for any long periods I'm afraid.
From what I've read online about it though, it is a very nice steel in the hardness Rockstead makes them. (around 64 HRc)
From what I understand they will be slightly more prone to rusting, but will hold up to rough use very very good.
