when i am out on the trap line of course i have my NESSMUC on my hip.
Just got a SOG fusion for chrismas, love this thing. It is without a doubt the sharpest thing I have ever carried(goona enjoy it while it lasts:))
Which one do you carry?
I have a Fiddleback forge Nessmuk and really like it.

Just rediscovered that pic for another forum.

First one is a Ontario RAT-3 in D2. It's a factory second so I did not feel bad to mod it. Stripped the coating and put a convex edge on it. It's the knife I carry the most in the woods, well, before I got the Fiddleback Nessmuk mentionned in my last post.
Second is a MaxxQ-1A. Darrel Ralph design, I just don't dare to EDC it since only 26 were made. It has cut paper and a cigar tip.
Third is a Darrel Ralph design Camillus Heat (RIP Camillus :'( ), the first decent knife I bought. As you can see it's a safe queen ;)
Cybrok, have you seen the new Rowen made RAT knives? they did some tweaking, and made them better. I have the new version of the 3, green coating and orange G-10 scales. love it! But the fiddleback looks so nice, so very nice.
I saw the new RC knives, if I had more money I'd get a few. A new big knife (RTAK equivalent) is coming at SHOT show, can't wait.
None of the above...
How about a little gerber locking blade.
Less than 2" sharp enough to trim a nail
durable enough to slit tape on a box and
cut cardboard as needed.
i also went for the fiddle back maple , got mine made at www.idahoknifeworks.com real nice people, its a mountain man knife MADE by a MOUNTAINMAN!!! and exc. workmanship.
Cybrock, I should have figured that out given you are on another forum.. duh. I shiped mine to alberta from KSF, liked the service and had no trouble with the boarder.
