REALLY? Can you buy razors? And if you contact that seller I know he likes to do shady things with customs so you might be able to buy one off of him and have him declare it something else lol.
Can buy razors yer. It's not a customs issue at all, it would get through fine, it's an ebay UK thing.
Hey Greg,
Mark has a line on a cat who is making these neat little blades. Here's a thread about them: http://straightrazorpalace.com/conve...fe-thread.html There are a couple Asian markets down in Bridgeport and I know of at least one Asian weapons and cutlery shop in the area. I will make a point of stopping by and snooping around for you. If I find what you want, I am certain I can get one to you.
Brad
Christ that is a stunning knife. Congratulations on that one Mark. Lot of money for me though.
Interestingly enough my only custom is a friction folder. I love them, think they're absolutely brilliant knives. I have two svord peasants and my custom, which is from Brazil.
My custom is effectively the same as this in a different wood

If you are interested Gregg I will send you this one pictured below. You just have to pay shipping:
By the way, it is brand new just a bad scan I guess
Mark, that's extrememly generous. I will send you a PM now.
I like the look of the blade, but the handle looks rather fragile?
Weird...I had no idea these were at all special. I just went to the hardware store and bought the cheapest knife they had. I guess it's not a "real" higonokami, but it does take an easy, durable edge.
Hmmmm...
