Thank you. I'm glad I didnt test it first. I don't have any hones for my razor yet. I've been looking at barbers hones but have been waiting to start honing until I get a second razor.

Finally got the package that contained my F1 & H1 today!
I must say i am very happy with this purchase.
The knives are both amazing and came extremely sharp.
I finally see what people mean by the F1 handles being just a bit small and that the H1 fits much better. That being said a set of gloves will solve that problem very easily!
One thing that i noticed was that the F1 zytel sheath is not the same as the one usually pictured.
First it doesn't included the F1 stamp on it, it only says Fallkniven, and the material doesn't feel the same as the H1 zytel.
Has anyone seen this kind of sheath before?
Either way it shouldn't be a problem, and i have a leather sheath coming in to replace it soon:)
Here are some pics, nothing fancy since we have all seen these knives before lol

Attachment 72383Attachment 72384Attachment 72385Attachment 72386Here is a Smith & Wesson OTF,strong spring,DE and thick and strong. The other is what was referred to as the CIA letter opener, made of Kevlar very strong, sharp, and not metallic, which can come in handy, especially around the neck, don't know if you can still get them,Ive had it for years, but its a nice toy.
Nice. I like the Kevlar one.
Are there dowsides to kevlar knives?
I once thought about buying a ceramic one, but found them too brittle. I suppose with Kevlar that is not a concern, but can you sharpen them?
Not really. From memory they are made of a material called Zytel (a type of nylon/fibreglass). I had a spike made of the same stuff. They are not really designed for cutting stuff. More poking holes in stuff. Probably pretty illegal now (even in places other than Australia) because they have no magnetic signature. Good letter opener though, im sure.
Still legal in the good ol' US of A. All kidding aside. I would much rather have an actual knife. The spike you are refering to I believe is from SOG. It was thought of as a last ditch weapon. Not an actual knife to cut with. Still being made.
It still boggle's my mind the restrictions you have now.....
If it was legal I would always choose a black bear classic aka "ultimate murder tool"

or trailmaster aka "ultimate skullcrushing tool"
