Yeah, I do now. The one I own was bought from within Aus.
Oh, And my membership to AKC expired, and now they are not having a club any more. Do you know WTF is going on there?

The AKC club was killed by the result of one sensationalist Melbourne journalist (falsely) reporting on the rampamt knife crime in this country, even though crime rates are down across the board, putting pressure on the police and government bodies to ban these evil weapons outright. This created the move by the powers that be to approach the AKC and ask for details (names/address' etc) of all their members. Keith and Joan refused to hand these over to the police, rightfully claiming a breach of privacy. When the powers that be came back and said, hand them over freely or we'll make you hand the info over, Keith and Joan dis-banded the club. Thus preventing the buggers from getting our private details. That's it, in a glossy nutshell, mate.
The club is finished, mainly thanks to one journalist, with the aid of a customs agency that seems to have become a law unto themselves, and the federal governments stupidity and ignorance in general. However, they are still importers of bladeware, as Matrose agencies is a seperate side of the business, not a part of the defunct AKC. And you can still buy direct from them, but I do miss the magazine...And my five minutes of fame when they printed two of my articles. :)

The whole knife issue in aus seems to suck big time.
I mean since when is having a katana to carve the Christmas ham considered dangerous!
Lol I'm only saying this because everything I but is always labeled as kitchen knives now. I guess you could use a 15 inch machete to cut the vegetables.
Well they use Kukuri knives in the kitchen in Nepal,so that might come close to counting as a machete.
Why not use a chainsaw?! Well, have you ever tried to clean a chainsaw after carving a ham with it? Quite tedious I must say, and not to mention what it does to the ham in wastage... :)
Mick
Maybe a filleting knife is better than a chainsaw :p
Not fancy enough to be a Brodziack...:p

Meh ! Safe queens :argue:;)
