If you've really ruined the stone- which I think is completely fixable it just will take time- but if you really did ruin it just PM me I have one that I can give you.
Definitely, here is a list of a few: Custom Straight Razors - Straight Razor Place Wiki. Be prepared to pay $400-800 for one. If not, you could take a look at Hart steel, Thiers-Issard and Dovo, as they have quite attractive razors as well!
Or... you could buy a razor and have someone make new scales, or even make those yourself. To get some inspiration, visit the Custom Builts and Restorations.
I don't think I ruined it I am just over exagerating because I am kicking myself in the tail for not doing more research. It really is a small nick and lapping may fix it :D
Well I am lookin at the customs and I am really looking for something not traditional. I want to look at the razor and be like man that looks like a Porche or a BMW. Something Shiney impressive and modern.
That sounds like a challenge :D Look at Alex Jacques's or Charlie Lewis's razors, you may like their style!
Edit: here are some ideas

More to come, I need to run and save a $500,000 machine!
So what would be a good razor to start with?
Any suggestions on brand or style?
I second that. And you may want to pick a round point rather than a square or French point, or ask the vendor to mute the point for you. Otherwise, you'll carve your face a few times while getting used to shaving with a straight, as a square point should not be underestimated.
