I guess I'm still new to traditional wet shaving, being using a DE for a few months. I've been pretty active on a different forum, but now that straight razor bug to bite and I have hardware, I felt a need to come here too.
I still need to get a strop and some testicular fortitude before I use the straight, but I'm looking forward to that day!

I'm also rather new with straight razor (Couple of months) and I have to say that I love it. I started out with a shavette - without a blade - to get the hang of it and how to place my hand finding the right angles and all.

Well, I finally ordered a strop and my razor is back in Canada from being honed. A few more weeks and I might be putting my DE razors on the back burner
