Thread: Hello from Yorkshire (england) :-)

Just a quick hello before I go hunting further through the site, which by the way looks like a wealth of information! :-)

I've had a few shaves with the barber and have decided to take the plunge and get a razor myself. It'll be mainly for detailing/trimming (if thats the right term lol) as apposed to full face shave as I tend to have stubble most days.

I was going to go down the route of a shavette but nobody had any in stock at the moment so I went for a full on straight razor.

Here's the one I've gone for as my first. I know its a Bontgen & Sabin Solingenwith the term "Mois" stamped on the shank/tang, and has celluloid sclaes, other than that I don't know the year etc but i would be very interested to know if anyone has an idea ?
