New to straight razors. Did my first shave today with out a call to 911. All in all I think it went well. Still have much to learn.

Hey souschefdude,
I am using a 6/8 Dovo. I Believe that this style of shaving is an art. The best shave I have ever had is while I was in Turkey, it was a straight razor and a great feeling. It has only taken me 25 years to get around to learning it myself.
