Thread: Greatings from USCG MR SE NM, Some of my Finds, couple of questions and new here

Greatings to all and Fair Winds and Weather. Name is Jimi Genzling, am a Disabled US Coast Guard Vet, a Tinker, Gardener and Librarian for myself. Needless to say, my interests are varied, my hobbies are as well, but my pashion is Long Range Rifle Marksmanship and teaching others the be rifle marksman from the basics up. My Bride is the light of my life and the reason I am surviving today. With her we have an astonishing daughter who inherited the drive and ambition of her dads side of the famaly, graduated from McMurry University in Abeline Tx with the highest honors and degree in Bio Chem. I joke with my Bride Theresa that she must have been switched at birth, some rich doctor folks have this cute kid that is dumber than a box of rocks, yes, she hits me and smiles, she is OURS.

When we lost my dad in 77 I inherited a box of his pried items that he specified were mine. The box included his colection from his WWII years of his zippos, his Ronson unit lighter, (that I need to fix), and his razors. Of those I have 2 which have the boxes, both "Simmons Hardware Co. St. Louis Mo. Fully warrented". One is an "Empire, A.F. Shapleigh Hardware CO. Made in Germany. #2 is a LEES WarrentedLee Mfg. Co. Chicago, Both of these apear to have Ivory Scales. The last is a Made in the U.S.A. Case Temperite Trade Mark 20. Its scales are missing and I am making new ones from either Mesquite Burl or Osage Orange Burl. Any information on any of them would be appriciated.

The last is a collection of his pipes, some US, some war time euopean and german. Some I enjoy smoking with my home grown, no chemicals tobacco. Anyone having information on my razors, posible values and histories, pos. dates, I would greatly enjoy hearing from you.
