Thanked: 0A little curious
Hello, i am new to SRP and i hope that i dont offend anyone with this simple question. What is the difference (besides the obvious non-folding) between a straight and a japanese feather razor?

Thanked: 1185If your talking about a Kamisori <<(mispelled I am sure) it is meant for 1 hand. In other words, to be used by 1 person on another. It is the way they are made and sharpened. One side having a small bevel if any at all. I am not that familiar with them for that reason but I have read a lot. Some guys have them and use them but I bet just once in awhile :<0)
Welcome to SRP.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 284Yes if you are talking about a Kamisori, then +1 to what 10pups said. Grind is different. Although I believe there are some with western grinds.
Now you said "feather" which is a brand. They make disposables - are you talking about those?
There are also western style straights that are feather brand.
All that probably just confused things - it kind of did to meI love living in the past...
