Thanked: 5Great post. Nice to see coming from my home state. As a retired road racer and past track day instructor I too would like to see that video out there more for the public to see. I would also reiterate what they said in the video. No matter what kind of bike you ride, go to a track day. Really learn how to control your machine. Everyday I see little nuances in riders on the road that I wish I could help them correct. The truth of the matter for me is I much more enjoy the track as it it sooooo much safer than our roads. I have been taken out by cars a couple of times. First by a mom arguing with kids instead of stopping at a stop sign and second by a car on a yielding left turn. Not much I could do with the first but because of my skill I fortunately came out just fine. I sacrificed the bike on the second one. I put into a low side skid and bailed. Anyways to all the riders out there stay safe!
