You will find members here of all different backgrounds, ages and occupations from all corners of the world and all with a quest for more knowledge about using and maintaining a straight razor!
As mentioned, there are some great guys in your part of the world!
The Best Advice I Can Give Is This; Go Slow, Be Patient as this age old art has a huge learning curve but once semi mastered is very rewarding.
It's a long strange trip but well worth the journey
If you haven't done any real 'wet shaving 'you will not only need a razor, but a strop, a brush and some decent shaving soap/that canned goop just doesn't cut it in 'Real Shaving'.
