I'm from Montana.

I'm intrigued by straight razors. I just started shaving with them, however, I've always admired the Barbers who still practice the craft in their shops. Many times I sought out a barber specifically for a straight razor shave. Recently I decided that I would learn to shave myself and pass the craft on to my son... along with the razors that I will collect over the course of my adult life.

In searching for a straight razor to purchase, I fell in love with the aesthetics and beauty of straight razor design. The different qualities that certain companies bring or brought to the table. Although, I'm passionate about barbering and straight razors, I'm still learning about reputable companies and vintage razors. Eventually I'm sure I'll wander into the honing/restoration world.

I'm not a barber, although I want to be one eventually. I just discharged from the U.S. Army and am trying to get my life, family and priorities in order.
