Hello from Ks

So I thought I would say hello an tell everyone a little bit about myself an this hobby.

I've been straight shaving for 3 or 4yrs now. I started with a illinois 206 an a Dovo Best Quality that was supposed to be shave ready hahaha. The fist few shaves were horrible an so I started reading all I could, (mostly from this forum) an found that it was not shave ready so I purchased a franz swaty BH an all the hones needed ( as I am a do it yourselfer) naniwa ss 3,5,8k an a chosera 1k an a DMT8" an everything has been great since. I now have 15+ razors an a nice 3" buffalo strop 1 boar 1 badger brush with my newest aquisition being a nos puma 5/8" W/coffin dirt cheap(yay me). During this time I have restored a few of the razors I now use an love every aspect of this hobby anyways thanks for reading an all the info you seasond members have posted that helped in my journey hopefully I can now help some of the newer people with some of my expierence.

JeffR I am in Wichita so they are about 2hrs+- depending on exact location so far I haven't found any members that are close to me there's kc an Okc but those are both 4Hrs+ so no get togethers for me

That would be great Howard whenever I have some time I will Pm you an we could do that. I have checked the local help an only saw one person in Ks an he was in Kc but that was awhile ago an before I became a member so it is good to know that there is someone closer. I do have another question for everyone. I emailed the sites administrators about it an no one has answered yet which I'm sure its because they're busy but I'm having trouble veiwing the site but only when I'm signed in I get either a 404 error a blank white screen or a server busy notice an very rarely an oops this link seems broken. It takes anywhere from 4 to 20 tries to open pages. I first thought it was just my iphone because I use it more than my laptop but it is happening with it also. any and all help is greatly appreciated.
