Hi Gabe. Welcome aboard. You will find a lot of useful information in the Library which you will see at the top plus many members here can help out as well. Have any questions, just ask. You will be answered most likely more than once.
I wish you the best of luck my friend.
Welcome to SRP!
I believe your razor is a Joseph Allen & Sons, "Original Dagger Razor".
Not sure of the exact date, but somewhere between 1864 (when they started) and 1891(when it had to have England stamped on it.
Welcome to SRP. I really like that sword stamp.
Found any old razors made in Scotland? That would be interesting to see.
Hi, Gabe, and welcome aboard!!
Thanks Walter! ;) Awesome to be here and thank you for the warm welcome!
JP5,thank you, i'm very lucky to have found them. I did not know they made razors in my country, i am very new to this and still learning.
Lol
Best regards all!
Gabe
Actually, I don't know of any old SR makers in Scotland. That is why I thought it would be interesting. When I posted I could have been clearer on that point. Much of my family is of Irish/Scottish descent so it would have been interesting to find a razor made in that region.
I still consider myself pretty new to SR's as well, but I'm learning.
