Hi from Scotland
Hi all! I'm Gabe from Scotland! Thanks for having me!
I do have some questions on two straight razors i bought today.
I have already started my research and pretty confident with the age and make of one.
The other i can not seem to find much at all on age and make.
It looks like horn scales, round point and has "Sheffield" with a single sword/dagger stamped on the tang.
I will post pics soon.
Any answers would be appreciated and very welcome!
Many thanks!
Best regards,
Gabe

There are no other stamps on the tang. However, some numbers have been scrached on the bull horn scales on both sides.
1911 on one side and 185 on the other.
I'm thinking dates of previous owners.

I can tell you that as it is stamped sheffield it is most likely after 1891.

Oh! I read somewhere if it does not have England on it then it would be before 1891?
Thank you anyway mate, most helpful!
