    Hi eddy79.

I know us English blokes get called "POMmies" down under. Do you fellows get offended at being called "Ozzies"? If you do, I won't <grin>

Please don't encourage my RAD. SWMBO is already threatening severe consequences if I don't get it under control.

I have at least 20 different types of soap and creams and 21 different After Shaves and Balms. Blades? Don’t ask! Large Rubbermaid box full!
No wonder you have a hectic life with little time for forums, you're too busy shopping!

    Thanks for the welcome.

I haven't gotten everything photographed yet. When I do I guess the right place to post would be the "Show and Tell" subforum, right?

Regarding the database -- I am thinking it was a mistake on my part to make that part of my intro post. I will likely make it a separate thread. Do you agree that the "General Razor / Shaving Related Discussion" would be a good place for it?
Yes, I think that would be a good place to post. If you're ever unsure if you have the right corner of the forum, feel free to add a note asking Mods to move it if appropriate. Also, do a search for 'database' in the search box up in the top right corner. You might find some inspiration there as I'm sure quite a few other guys have done what you're thinking of.

Horsforth isn't too close to Sheffield, so hopefully you're not a Sheffield Wednesday supporter. If you are, apologies in advance for kicking you out of the league cup this evening.

EDIT: 20 minutes in and two injuries later, I wonder if it is too late to temper that bit of cup-tie-related hubris...

EDIT EDIT: Can I make that a full-on retraction please? Thanks.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Not to worry my friend. I was not even 8 years old when we left the UK, so I never got caught up in football (English, American, or Canadian).

Welcome to the forum - your story sounds much like mine in how you got into wet shaving....for me, it was buying another pack of Gillette Mach 3 cartridges, and just being floored at the price...saw a video of a guy shaving with a straight razor, and I was in - the journey continues to be fun.

    Welcome!
