Make sure you get it honed properly by someone who uses and knows how to hone, not sure where you are but Oz and a couple others are down there and can get it done right. Tc
welcome aboard! enjoy the experience
Hi there Brian, there's quite a bunch of straight shavers in Australia and we're all ready to help. You'll need a strop as well to keep your straight(s) in good nick. I made that a plural because once you've got one you'll be sure to want another:)
regards
Mike

Hi and welcome from the west coast. Be sure to check out the down under forum as well. Has a list of Aussie supplies and most of us pop through and check it out regularly. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask
Welcome to the forum Brian, if you need any help just holler mate.
Dave.
Welcome. And don't forget that strop as already mentioned.
Hi Brian & welcome aboard. It sounds like you won't have any problems since there are quite a few good fellas from down under. Be sure to check out the Library here starting with the Beginners Guide & going from there.
Great to have you here.
Good luck my friend.
Welcome to SRP! :)
There are lots of guys who are, by Australian standards, local. Anyway, I hope you enjoy using straight razors, and good luck.
James.
