Hi I'm Brian from Australia,
I've been shaving with a shavette for about two months now, and I'm currently waiting on my first real straight. So hello and I'm looking forward to conversing with and learning from you all.

Make sure you get it honed properly by someone who uses and knows how to hone, not sure where you are but Oz and a couple others are down there and can get it done right. Tc

Hi there Brian, there's quite a bunch of straight shavers in Australia and we're all ready to help. You'll need a strop as well to keep your straight(s) in good nick. I made that a plural because once you've got one you'll be sure to want another
regards
Mike

Thanked: 1587Welcome to SRP!
There are lots of guys who are, by Australian standards, local. Anyway, I hope you enjoy using straight razors, and good luck.
