If you have not tried it yet, you will find that sharpening razors is quite different from sharpening knives. Both are worthy endeavors!

1st step is to acquire a truly shave-ready razor for learning to shave as well as to have a benchmark for your honing.
Some of your current hones might be satisfactory. What do you have?

Dovo black star is my first razor, and today i've bougth this Puma 4/8.
I've ordered Shapton 12000 and Vermio natural stone from Greece.
I also have Chroma 8000 ceramic stone, but that one is mostly used for same type of knife.
