i am a long time wet shaver using mostly vintage gillette safety razors. i have never shaved with a straight razor yet tho i intend to in the future. i cannot at this stage post any photos as i have no camera and dont know how. i have fallen behind in technology im afraid.anyway i do own my grandfathers straight razor given to me by his youngest daughter my aunt who is 88. it is in a reddish slide together box labeled twins and pictures two twin stick figure men. the other side of the box reads georgia barber supply co. savannah ga. and stamped germany.the box is in very good shape. the razor is in apperance pretty good condition scales are fine sort of off white with grain in them.the pins may have no washers and the ends are sort of silver in color with twin markings.the blade tang is marked j.a. henckels twinworks solingen germany on the other side of the tang the word TWINS with twins logo on each side.the blade tip is square.the tang is also marked pat off.the blade has tiny nicks seen with a magnifying glass.my grandfather was born in 1893 and was in france with the us army in ww1. i have a photo of him in uniform.he died in 1935 from the effects of being gased on the battfield in france according to the family. i never knew him but this was his razor according to my aunt.good to be part of your community.john
