    Default Greetings from West Michigan

    Hello, my name is Keith and I have been traditional wet shaving with DE/SE for a little more than a couple of years. I have been on the fence with trying out the straights for quite some time. I heard that injectors were the next best thing to a straight shave. Well I never was one to accept second best, so I started on my journey with a straight a couple of weeks ago. Now as far as soaps, brushes and aftershaves go; I have too many to count I did acquire a vintage hanging strop in excellent condition. As I said, I have four vintage razors, however I have been focusing on using only one for at least 30 days. I want to make sure that my technique is fairly established for both shaving and stropping before switching tools. After the first couple of shaves, the nicks and cuts have disappeared and I have been getting excellent irritation free shaves. From this point on, my technique and muscle memory needs to be honed (pun intended). I figured it was time to quit lurking and jump into the pond here
