    Default Hello from Nebraska

Been collecting for a few years now . interest include any vintage or antique shaving related items . I have about 50 or so straights , many safety razors , hones , about 350 or so single safety blades with advertising on each wrapper , assorted single edge and double edge blade sharpeners
brushes , mugs , NOS and vintage shave cream and shave cream jars , many extra straight blades with no scales , many straight edge boxes .
WOW , and the list goes on and on . I believe once your bitten by the collecting bug there does not seem to be a stopping point , or is there one .
are there any more collectors in Nebraska , I am about an hour west of Omaha .
Thanks for the acceptance into the SRP forum .

Welcome Brian, don't feel guilty about your AD ( acquisition disorder ). Many of us here are in worse shape than you, and stopping is for quiters. [emoji6]

It's like outback and Raol said you have lots of company here.
Quitting is for weak Nancies. It takes a real man to admit he has a problem and say SCREW IT I'm good with who I am!

Welcome to the forum. The only odd ones among us are those who don't succumb to the collecting disorders.

Welcome to SRP! Just so you know, it is a contest to see who gets the best stuff.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

well some submit to the acquisitions but collecting isn't our main reason for the forum,,, shaving is,, so with all the stuff you have are you shaving with it? Tc

I do suffer from acquisition disorder, but my disposable income (or lack thereof) keeps it in check.

As TC has said, for me it is about the shave, so my collection is limited to things that I can actually use. You will find yourself in good company here though, there are some impressive collections out there.

I wonder if there is such a thing as collection envy disorder... If so I am sure I have it

Good luck with your collection, but I am curious to know what your preferred method of scraping the hair off your face is too.
