Thread: Hello from a new Portuguese member!

Hello, my name is Daniel, from Braga - Portugal. I just started yesterday (yayyyy) shaving with a 11/16 Wade and Butcher Special after starting this january shaving with SR of different types. I just bought this beauty a week ago and it was delivered to me shave ready. Unfortunately though I shaved yesterday with it, it was a tad difficult as I am currently healing from a 5th metacarpal fissure. I think I will wait a few more weeks until I'm fully healed to repeat a straight razor shave, that if I can fight the urge to do it hehe In the meanwhile I'll get the straight razor experience vicariously watching videos and visiting this great forum!

No problem. That sounds like the perfect opportunity to try out shaving with your non-dominant hand. Unless, of course, you find that hand not quite as useful when performing delicate operations.

All kidding aside, you can use the interim time to study up on the various components of straight shaving in the Library and on the forum.

I hear you! Hehe that's the silver lining of this ordeal I'm forcing myself to use the left hand and make it a little less useless.
