Thanked: 0Hello all
Hi, I'm Channing and stumbled into the wet shave community by trying to make a razor after making knives. I bought one for research and have been hooked since getting involved. I'm slowly learning my honing, stropping and shaving technique, but I am enjoying the journey. Shaving use to be more of a drill and task to get through as quick as possible, I know look forward to shaving to improve my straight razor skill and find the process relaxing.

Welcome to SRP! I've been here for years and am still learning. The "Library" is one of my favorite places to browse when the forum is quiet.
Make yourself at home and enjoy your visits.

Thanked: 0Here it is, don't laugh at the tang length, haha. I had never seen a real straight razor in person so made it off of pics. Blade is only 2.5" and tang is too long. It was fun and a learning experience and got me into wet shaving. The shave bowl and brush were my Dad's that I saved after his passing. Take care
