Thread: Sterba43 Introduction

I am new to this site and I am amazed at the information that is here! I didn't realize the number of people that use straight razors. Some of you might glean from my username that I have been around since 1943. When I was younger (my wilder days), I didn't think I would see the backside of 40! At 3/4 of a century I'm glad to the sun rise in the morning. My first shave with a straight razor was when I came across a Puma while I was stationed in the Army in Italy during the 60's. I am basically self taught from memories in the barber shop when I was a kid, only one little nick my first shave! I am still a Puma man to this day. Somewhere along the way I picked up several more, one from Turkey, a Puma Silber (German for Silver) and one here in the states, it has never been used. I will eventually sell those 2, hopefully to someone that would appreciate them. With 4 boys, not the first one would use one, in fact 2 of them don't use any razor at all! I guess that is enough for now, what I wanted as a short introduction almost turned into my life history.
