Default Howdy and Thanks from Texas

    Hello Gents (and ladies),

I just registered on the forum so thought I would say a quick hello to everyone and introduce myself. I started wet shaving a little over four years ago. That's when I first found this forum while I was researching how to straight razor shave (o.k... technically shavette shave - maybe I'll invest in a 'real' straight and strop some day). And I would like to say a heart felt thank you to all who have contributed to this forum that helped me to learn what I needed to know to get started in this wonderful hobby. Thank you all!

Welcome to the forum. There are often affordable razors in the BST section here that will be way sharper than a new one. That and a cheap strop (probably don't want an expensive one to learn on) will get you switched over.

If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

Thanks for the advice! Looks like that could be a good option for me.

    Welcome from SE Washington State

As mentioned posting your city would be wise as there could be local help very near by.

This is an older but better way of shaving. Keep at it and keep---------------
