    Hello everyone. My name is Luciano, I come from Italy.
    I love antique/vintage straight razors, and restore them.

    A lot of infos and skilled people there, it is great :-)

    GAVET, Paris. "Portmanteau" 7-day set. probably dated 1810-1830 (activity ended in 1834).
    Gavet was a genious. I have other sets like that, and seen a good number of others. This is by far the best from a technical point of view.
    I'm referring to the clamping mechanism, that is the weak point of these objects. I let a good number of them pass in front of me on ebay, because they are almost always irreparably damaged. This one is fantastic. It is based on a simple, precise, reliable system.
