Greetings From Edmonton Alberta
Greetings all, I'm currently working on the Citadel Theatre's Production of Sweeney Todd. Got a little more interested than I thought, I look forward to starting out. From all the information I can gather straight edge seems to be a cost effective means of shaving. Although I'm mostly Bald I don't think I'll venture to the top of my head on my own any time soon.
Reading what I can get from the Forum's it seems as though Edmonton doesn't have any local shops that sell anything worth spending money on. If I'm wrong on that I'd love to know some local places I can go for supplies.
I've read up on the begginers Guide and watch a lot of reference material. So with any luck I hope I can get used to shaving straight edge, as I've been using razors for 16 years and the adventure of trying something different is appealing...
Thanks,
Scott-G

Hello, Scott-G:
Welcome to SRP, the home of gentlemen shavers. Obviously you have done some research already. Should you need further information, from single malt scotch to a quality straight razor, post it and you'll have your answer in no time.
What is especially impressive about SRP is its cast of experts on just about everything, especially straight razors and traditional shaving in general.
I , too, highly recommend our good friend Scott, owner of Rasage Poulin. Scott has a fine line of razors and products. Scott is also a good person and his service excellent.
By the way, in what way are you involved with the Citadel Theatre and with Sweeney Todd?
Regards,
Obie
