Hi To All

I've been shaving with DE razors for a little over two years (as well as collecting fairly heavily) and I thought I would join up to bring whatever knowledge I have gleaned about vintage Gillette razors to those that are interested.

Just looking forward to cruising this site and meeting some new people. :)

Hey, welcome to this site. I know a lot of us here use DE's when for any number of reasons we cannot get a str8 in.

Just be aware that too much time on this site will get you a new hobby and suck the life out of your desposable income.:D Start picking out your new Dovo Straight Razor, strop, brush, cream and honing stones right now!:nj Oh yeah, once you aquire one or more aquisition disorders, and the frustration of learning, you may want to line up your shrink as well.

Nice collection. Believe me when I tell you, if you get the straight razor RAD you'll look back at the days of $ spent on the DEs with fond memories. :) The straights can break the bank if you ain't careful..... :boohoo: and it looks like you ain't. :roflmao

I don't doubt you for a second, I have seen what decent vintage straights go for on the bay.

Yeah, Derby has some serious QC issues and they had to go.
