    Default Greetings from Virginia

Like many folks I am here to get more information about making the shift to a straight razor. I will be reading and watching for advice, I have what could be called a challenging beard, with fairly translucent skin and a dark beard. At 17, quite a while ago, I was shaving 2-3X daily at Parris Island (USMC Boot Camp). I look forward to some good advice.

Thanks, Malacoda. Stafford County for me.

Thanks, Mainaman. I am reading through all the beginner materials right now. I will keep my eyes open and watch the classifieds as well.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
