Greetings from Lost, Dazed and Confused
Hi everyone. I don't know where to begin. There is so much information out there and soo many razors. I guess I need to start watching videos first. I am tired of paying lots of money that I just throw away so I think I am ready to try a straight razor. I just don't want to cut my throat or hurt myself.

Welcome to SRP!
First-there is alot to learn as you have discovered-but every journey starts with the first step and you have just made it!!
Read the wiki and learn about types of razors .Then search the classifieds for a razor that you like.As long as you read and learn you will gain all the knowledge required to make your first foray into the world of straight shaving.The learning curve is long so settle down and take things slowly at first-if you need advice -just ask!
