Hello folks, just dropping a friendly greeting before geeting into this forum. I am impressed with all the interesting info and I feel I have a great deal to learn. I use a Bengall straight razor which I purchased in Australia over 10 years ago. My brush recently gave up the ghost so I will be in the market for another very soon. I look forward to meeting many new folks on the forum!!

It sounds like you are a seasoned straight razor pro already, which is great! There is a lot of information available both on the forums here and in the Wiki which is linked in my sig line on all aspects of the hobby, from restoration to honing, so have a read and enjoy..!
Have a look in the Vendors corner and in the brushes forum to get some inspiration on your next brush.
Any chance of some pics of your razor? :)

Thanks for the warm welcome gentlemen!! I have just finished a stocktake and realised that my stone is damaged and my strop is missing. Having moved from Australia I am several boxes shorter than when I started so I may have to drop some serious money I don't have to replace lost items :aargh:
