    Default Hello from Norway!!

Hello folks, just dropping a friendly greeting before geeting into this forum. I am impressed with all the interesting info and I feel I have a great deal to learn. I use a Bengall straight razor which I purchased in Australia over 10 years ago. My brush recently gave up the ghost so I will be in the market for another very soon. I look forward to meeting many new folks on the forum!!

    Paul.

Hi Paul, welcome to the site..!

It sounds like you are a seasoned straight razor pro already, which is great! There is a lot of information available both on the forums here and in the Wiki which is linked in my sig line on all aspects of the hobby, from restoration to honing, so have a read and enjoy..!

Have a look in the Vendors corner and in the brushes forum to get some inspiration on your next brush.

Any chance of some pics of your razor?

Good luck and keep us posted!

Takk skal du ha!! Jeg håper det.

Stubear; I will have to give the old girl a clean and polish before I post pics. It was a very well used razor before I got it and I never bothered to clean the patina off. I will post pics when I get home

I am an "adopted" Norwegian. I married a Norwegian girl and moved here 3 years ago from Australia. I am doing my best to integrate by learning the language and drinking black coffe, but, I draw the line at eating lutefisk!!!

    Thanks for the warm welcome!!
