    Thumbs up First time on...

Hail all...I am new to this and hope I have it right. I am George and I was always fascinated by the use of the straight razor. My older uncles used them at home and in business, but I never got to learn. My friend, senseikyle, honored me with my first straight razor. I, being a retired soldier, was presented a razor that had 'Army' stamped into the blade. I was also given a new razor strop. My first shave was a deliberate long, slow process. I think I could have gotten closer, but my wife loved the smooth skin. It was an outstanding experience!! So glad to be a part of the organization. Thanks again, Kyle. g

Welcome top SRP! Congrats on that straight shave. Don't worry about being slow or taking too much time. It is part of the learning process and each time you shave it will get better.

    Thumbs up Welcome

Welcome to SRP George. Slow is good...that way you pay attention and absorb everything you do.

That was a very nice gesture by Kyle. This is what epitomizes SRP and its members. Way to go Kyle

    Happy shaving
