Hello Chaps I have decided learn how to shave properly with an open razor and so the Net has brought me to your door.

I have been DE shaving for a while now with a 1950's flare tip rocket which is nice.
while looking for more vintage safety Razors in an antiques shop that did not have any but they did have some straights and seeing as they were cheap £17 all together I now have 6 rusty razors which are as follows a matching pair of bone handle Joseph rodgers & sons barbers notch, an Ivory handled Joseph Rodgers & sons spanish point , A Fritzs Bratch Dovo with tortoiseshell handle. R H & sons black handle sheffield steel hollow ground, a Racoon 3 hollow grind from wald solingen and a no name wedge razor made from silver steel.

So I'm going to get them cleaned up and shave sharp aquire a strop and maybe a hone and then all Hell can break loose!!

Here are some pics if you want a look at a soon to be beginners set of blades.
