Are you at Oxford University or living in the town? My son is a grad student at Oxford in Wadham College. I've visited Oxford once and loved it!
You should find one of the vintage "Oxford" razors and have it restored and honed. They were good razors!
Welcome to SRP! I also know the Oxford area fairly well - I lived in Summertown for 4 years while I was there. Such a lovely part of the world! My college was St. Annes, and I worked as a college math tutor at Queens.
On one of our recent-ish visits I found several nice antique straights in the antiques market there on the High street. It could be worth keeping an eye out if you are looking to add some more vintage razors to your collection.
