A week and a half after thossing out my last mach3 head and seeing that the price had gone up to 5$ for two heads which last me about a week. My beard is growing roots into my life. I'd like to let my face breath again. I told myself I wouldn't shave until I had a str8. 72hours of intense research later I find there is an art here. A connection with pure refinement of self...Now I remember a few days ago when I was wondering if I could get my chunk of obsidian sharp enough to shave with.

An act of pure respect, and focus.

I just ordered an old ingersoll strop, shaving soap from aprilsboutique, and now I am searching for a blade. I lost a few ebay auctions on bokers, gencos and a puma was sniped from me at the last seconds...It is hard to find a quality, shave ready blade and though I do not know much of shaving I understand the importance of good steel.

So my beard grows....

You should look in the classifieds here, there are plenty of shave-ready razors and it's definitely better than dealing with Evil-bay.

+1 to the previous post. There are usually plenty of good razors at good prices for starting with. Hell, anything beyond those razors are luxury IMO.

you won't regret throwing away your Mach3, in fact once you're on your way with a str8 you'll be wishing you had started shaving with a str8.
