Thanked: 0Hello from Texas! (...and already a question)
I just ordered one from WhippedDog.com and am looking forward to learning about the art of straight razor shaving.
The one I ordered (by recommendation and preference) is a "Robo", which I believe is the maker... I could see it etched into the tang. I have done a few searches and have not been able to come up with much/any information. Anyone have any knowledge/experience?
Thanks!

Thanked: 1263Hello and welcome! Sorry I can't help you with your razor but if someone else doesn't chime in I'm sure Larry @ whippeddog would be able to answer that question
The only razor I can think of close might be a Robeson?

Thanked: 0Thanks for the reply-- he suggested the Robo, the Oxford that is still listed on the site, and the WB that is still listed (didn't go for that one as one of the scales is chipped near the pivot and I don't want to undertake a project.... yet), so I suspect it is a solid shaver. Just hoping for a little history/background on my first shaver! -B
