Thanked: 0Hello from France;)
Just saying "Hi", have been lurking a bit here, and a member of another forum where I met some guys that I think are on here too.. (Mikael, Arrowhead, Neil Miller, SiR-ed8.....)
I started DE shaving a few months ago, and looked at a few straights, but never took the plunge.. I had bought some non-shave-ready ones, and just looked at them as a "curiosity".
Just over a week ago, Mikael was so kind as to send me a shave ready Anton Wingen jr - Othello 5/8, and a strop.
I've been playing with it almost everyday since, and only had one DE shave since I got it. I think I can get the hang of this game!
Quite a bit of my DE collection has been sold now (about half), and getting some more straights soon.
Valuable advice from quite a few members on the forum across the pond was given to me, but always looking for more!
My forum name is because I live in France, but I'm really an impostor, since I'm a dutchy
Hope you guys will have me and my silly questions
(but I do know how to use the search feature!)
Cheers,

Thanked: 0Hello Max,
Hope you have been doing well since this post. I am new to the forum and going through the guys that I see living in France. I am in Lyon not actually started shaving but ready to take the plunge as you say. Any chance you are in my area? Hope so!
Let me know,
Thanks,
Ryan
