    Hi all,

    Just started into the straight razor thing for a few months now and loving it. Not only does it give a very smooth shave but i also enjoy all the other things around it like honing the razor...etc.

    I think the honing is a real skill and probably takes a while before you get really good.

    I am here to intereact with like minded individuals and enojy this even more.

    I have a Dovo 5/8 and now a set of Naniwa waterstones and accessories for the honing. Looking to absorb and learn.

    Thanks for any advice that may come.

    Welcome and enjoy the ride. Just be careful, people around here, present company included, encourage all sorts of horrible disorders. Hone Acquisition Disorder, Razor AD, Soap AD.....
