New here but have lurked in the past.
Wanted to introduce myself. I've been in here before looking around for information and thought I'd join since I stop in here many times. I'm not a collector of razors for the most part but have a few. I have been coming across more and more in the last year or so and for the most part try and get them to those who appreciate them more than I do. This forum has been very helpful in the aspect of getting information on some of the razors I have acquired and I appreciate that very much. I do a lot of estate work which is where I come across a lot of the things I have collected and those that I sell to others. I didn't sign up in order to boost sales so I won't list my ebay name at this point but I wanted everyone to know that so if I ask questions it is because I am not an expert and I want to get the correct information out there for those interested in the items I may be offering for sale. I pride myself on being as accurate as possible but again I'm not an expert as many of you here are. An example of this is up until a week or so ago I didn't even know how to answer a question about the grind of a razor I had on ebay. You guys in here helped me answer that question with the vast info and chart you have. Thanks again! I do have a profound respect for things of the past and could easily collect them all if I could afford it. My mid to late 1800's bottle collection is growing rather quickly and I haven't yet gotten the razor bug but my wife seems to think I have since she is seeing more and more of them around the house.
Anyhow.....I appreciate what you have going here and look forward to interacting in the future.
