    Default Howdy! From Oklahoma.

    glad to be a part of the Straight Razor Place. I have been shaving with a brush and soap for years but have finally bought a straight razor from a local straight razor shop. I am really good with my hands. I own my own auto restoration buisness and i have been handeling tools my whole life so my first shave went okay. Only one small "cut" on my check from trying to change my grip on the razor without lifting blade away from my face. (i know, stupid, but leason learned) Still learning and getting comfortable. I love doing anything classic, vintage or old school. My cars are vintage, my furniture is vintage so why not my morning shave!!

    Howdy from Stillwater / Tulsa (I go back and forth - during the weekends I'm usually in Tulsa). Let's do a meetup sometime this month - I'm free almost any weekend. From the other thread, I still have these razors to restore and practice with, and now I've got a full set of Norton stones (200/1K/4K/8K) for honing practice! I can host at my house in Stillwater, or possibly in Tulsa - let me know!
