Just wanted to say howdy to all here. This is a great place, so glad I stumbled across it the other day. There is so much useful information available,and I just want to soak it all in.

Welcome to SRP!! Lots of info and lots of members willing to help!! Medicine Park is one of our favorite places. We usually make it down 2 or 3 times a year and do a lot of photography on the reserve. Anyway, welcome and if I can assist in any way, pm me.

Medicine Park is just north of Lawton/Ft. Sill. We were living up in Yukon, just west of OKC. Four years ago we bought a historic cobblestone in Medicine Park and I worked on restoring it on the weekends. Finally finished the work, sold the house in Yukon, and moved here to retire. We are just outside the entrance to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

Ok, I've been to the refuge, though it's been several years. Nothing like waiting on buffalo to decide to move off the road! Welcome!
