    Post Hello, from a traveller!

    Hello Straight Razor enthusiasts,

My name is Kinan and I have been straight razor shaving for two months now, and have fallen in love with this illustrious tool!

For two months of shaving I have had 3 months of reading, listening and watching all that I can from all over the net, but mainly my information has come from this amazing site; more significantly from all of you!

My work never leaves me in one place longer then a month, and wherever I end up people are amazed by these wonderful tools.

I may not have a lot to contribute, however I want you all to know that I am reading enthusiastically and constantly learning from the information each one of you give (I swear I am not Big Brother ).

Welcome. What type of work do you do, that you're always on the road?

    Hey Jim,

Actually I have to give credit to Matt321's strop building page. I went down to a local leather shop in brighton, UK and used the extra leather to make a small case for my razors. If Im not taking a carry on, I just wrap them all in a towel. Otherwise I preship them.

Dont need to have any cavity searches before a flight

Bruno, I work for a small consulting firm that manages risk assessment in conflict zones.

I know that Ive had my fair share of close shaves.

    (Ya that was terrible)

    Welcome to the forum!

    That made me laugh haha.
There is always a solution, whether it's already present or if you have to make it.
