    Question not a shaver

    Hello Folks,
I am not a shaver because I am a mommy.
I have a straight razor that came into my possession about 25 years ago. It was given to me by my daughter when her son was a two year old because she was unwilling to have it in her house. I put it away and didn't think anything more about it until I recently came across it again. I came to this website looking for information about it. It was in a case with the information "WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" on it, however, on the razor blade it reads, "FRIEDR. BAURMANN & SOHNE ("o" has 2 dots over it) -SOLINGEN-GERMANY". On the other side of the blade is "42 FIGARO".
I am interested in it's history, however, I have no need for this item and would like to find a buyer for it. Does anyone know about this item and are there any interested buyers?

Ebay is full of interested buyers.

The case and the razor don't match. One has no relation to the other. The manufacurer of your razor is FB&S. It is a decent brand of razor, but we don't have any pictures to tell you if something is wrong with it. Anyhow...your best bet is Ebay.

I haven't ever used Ebay, but I guess I will try that avenue. I knew that the two items were not from the same company but thanks for verifying that fact. It's interesting that the area that you are located is where I am from and where I got the razor to start with.

Post a picture and we can try to fill you in on any problems it may have or such! (Also you could get lucky and somebody my give you an offer for it... ) This site does work hard to keep price conversations to a one on one level though!
